Mississippi Center for Health Information Technology

At eQHealth, we believe in a health care infrastructure in Mississippi that is highly connected and interoperable. Through the statewide adoption of electronic health records by physicians and hospitals, the quality of care will improve and cost efficiencies will be achieved.

We provide the following:

  • Assist health care providers with the adoption and implementation of electronic health record systems.
  • Qualify for federal funding assistance for the purchase of the EHR.
  • Find grants and loans to cover upfront expenses.
  • Avoid financial penalties.
  • Achieve “meaningful use” of their system by 2015.
