We began our health information technology consulting in 2006 through participation in the CMS Doctor’s Office Quality Information Technology (DOQ-IT) project. Although CMS ended this project in 2008, we continued the work, and now worked with nearly 1,000 providers throughout Mississippi, Louisiana and neighboring states who are implementing electronic health records.
Collaborative Relationships – We work with local community stakeholders to encourage clinicians to move toward EHR adoption. In all states where we do business, we have built strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Corporate Financial Commitment – We have invested approximately $400,000 to operate our HIT consulting initiative that is now operating in Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas.
Physician-Sponsored – eQHealth Solutions is a large physician sponsored organization. We represent the interest of 1,800 physicians who have chosen membership in our organization. We also interact with more than 9,800 Mississippi physicians on a regular basis.
